Why is it important to update your personal data?

Keeping your personal data up to date guarantees secure banking operations and smooth communications with your bank (so that payment cards are sent to the right address and text messages to the right phone number, etc.).

You have complete control over any updates to your details (e.g. new ID card, proof of change of address), ensuring that the bank always has an accurate picture of your personal circumstances. If your circumstances change, there’s no need to visit your branch in person to let the bank know.

Access your personal file in a dedicated, secure area

It’s never been so simple to manage the personal data your bank has on file. The new BGL BNP Paribas Web Banking feature gives you complete control, allowing you to access, update and share documents in a fully secure digital environment.

Accessing it couldn’t be easier! Just log in to your Web Banking area via the desktop or mobile app, then click on the icon next to your name in the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.

Your personal digital file lets you securely store identification documents (such as a copy of your ID card or certificate of residence).

It is free and fully digital. Once the general terms and conditions of use have been accepted, you can remotely provide and manage all the documents and information about you that the bank requires.

The easy way to update your personal data

Are you moving house? Is your marital status about to change? Have you recently received a new ID card or changed employer?

You can let the bank know of any changes to your circumstances without visiting a branch in person.

Alternatively, the bank might send you a notification to let you know that your identification document is no longer valid. If this happens, there’s no need to print or post the new document – you can just provide it remotely.
