How do I activate Payconiq – BGL BNP Paribas in just a few clicks?

	Log in to Web Banking via the bgl.lu website Go to Web Banking and log in.
	Activate Payconiq via Web Banking in bgl.lu From your Web Banking account, click on the “Payment” tab in the left-hand menu. Click on “Activate and manage Payconiq, the mobile payment app” and then on “Install Payconiq”.
	Open the Payconiq – BGL BNP Paribas app Download or open the Payconiq – BGL BNP Paribas app and click on “Start activation”. Use your Payconiq app to scan the QR Code displayed on your Web Banking screen.
	Set a PIN Choose a Payconiq PIN. You will be asked to provide this PIN for validation purposes before each transaction. Tip: Activate the “Use fingerprint instead of PIN” option – this will enable you to validate your transactions more quickly.

How do I exchange money ?

Need to send or receive money? With Payconiq BGL BNP Paribas, this process couldn't be easier. All you have to do is:

Select the payer/payee’s phone number or enter it directly in the Payconiq app;
Enter the amount you wish to send or receive;
Validate the transaction using your PIN, fingerprint or Face ID.

If the payer/payee has activated the “Load & Request” feature in Payconiq, they will receive a notification that a transfer or transfer request has been made. If they have not activated this feature, they will be sent an SMS inviting them to do so.

Once the feature has been activated, if you request a payment, your account will be credited with the agreed amount. Converseley, if you send a contact money, their account will be debited.

You can also remind a friend or family member to send you money using the “Request” function. Simple and practical!

You can pay for purchases with Payconiq either online or in store in Luxembourg in the same way that you pay bills. All you have to do is:

Scan the QR code provided
Validate the transaction. The transaction will be executed instantaneously.

How do I use Payconiq?
Payconiq can be used for payments in Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands.

There are three types of payments:
- peer to peer ;
- at the point of sale (e.g. Cora, Batiself) ;
- online, using a computer or smartphone (e.g. www.luxcaddy.lu, www.foostix.lu) ;
- with invoices that include the Payconiq QR code (e.g. Foyer, Lalux, Leo, Ville de Luxembourg, etc.).
The Payconiq payment solution enables your smartphone to retrieve the necessary payment data and make a transfer from your bank account to the store’s.
Who can use Payconiq?

Anyone who has a bank account denominated in euro linked to remote banking.
Are there any fees for using Payconiq?

Transactions are free for users who pay, transfer or receive money with Payconiq.
How do I know if my Payconiq payment has gone through?

Once your Payconiq transaction has been approved, a payment confirmation message appears on your smartphone screen and a corresponding confirmation is sent to the store.

If there is a problem, an error message will appear on your screen and the transaction will be cancelled.

You can view your Payconiq payment history at any time within the app itself or in Web Banking.
