    The Bank of the Year Awards are decided by a panel from The Banker, which chooses one bank per country on the basis of criteria such as performance, innovation, value proposition to clients, and even the company's role in society.

    BGL BNP Paribas was recognised once again at the 2021 Euromoney Private Banking Awards, receiving awards in five categories including Best Private Banking Services Overall.
    BGL BNP Paribas also came first in Luxembourg in the ESG/Impact Investing category.

    BGL BNP Paribas named Best Bank in Luxembourg for fourth year in a row by Euromoney magazine.

    Euromoney magazine has named BGL BNP Paribas Best Bank in Luxembourg at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2019, which was held in London on 10 July 2019.

    It is the fourth year in a row that BGL BNP Paribas has been honoured with the title.

    Geoffroy Bazin, Country Head of the BNP Paribas Group in Luxembourg and Chairman of the BGL BNP Paribas Executive Committee, was delighted with the accolade: "We are particularly proud to see BGL BNP Paribas once again named Best Bank in Luxembourg by Euromoney in the year marking its 100th anniversary. This award is due recognition of our efforts to offer clients useful and innovative services that meet their expectations. I must thank our clients for their trust, just as I have to congratulate the bank’s employees on their commitment and performance."

     

    Euromoney also named the BNP Paribas Group World’s Best Bank for Corporate Responsibility.

    For the third year in a row, BGL BNP Paribas was named Best Bank in Luxembourg by Euromoney magazine, a reference publication in international finance and banking, at the 2018 Awards for Excellence held in London on 11 July.

    Geoffroy Bazin, Country Head of the BNP Paribas Group in Luxembourg and Chairman of the BGL BNP Paribas Executive Committee, made the following remarks: “We are extremely proud to see BGL BNP Paribas once again named Best Bank in Luxembourg by Euromoney. This accolade, which our bank has now received for the third year in a row, will stoke our efforts to rise to future challenges facing the bank and satisfy the evolving expectations of our clients. This award is the result of working together, and I must congratulate all bank employees on their commitment, just as I have to thank our clients for the trust they place in us.”

     

  • World's Best Trade Finance Provider in Luxembourg
    BGL BNP Paribas voted World's Best Trade Finance Provider in Luxembourg by Global Finance magazine. 

    The “World's Best Banks” were selected on the basis of their performance over the past year, and in particular:

    • transaction volumes
    • scope of global coverage
    • quality of services offered
    • competitive pricing
    • innovative technologies

    The selection was also made based on criteria such as reputation and management quality.

    The Global Finance panel, which was supported by international analysts, financial executives and bankers, reviewed the best Trade Finance institutions in 94 countries and regions.

    BGL BNP Paribas named Bank of the Year 2018 in Luxembourg by The Banker

    BGL BNP Paribas has been named Bank of the Year 2018 in Luxembourg by The Banker, the Financial Times' specialist financial magazine. The Bank received this award at a ceremony held in London on 29 November 2018.

    The Bank of the Year Awards are decided by a panel from The Banker, which chooses one bank per country on the basis of criteria such as performance, innovation, value proposition to clients, and even the company's role in society.

    "We are proud of this award, which recognises our ongoing efforts to serve our clients. Along with the commitment from our staff, our Bank's financial standing and capacity for transformation and innovation are key factors behind BGL BNP Paribas' success. We are particularly delighted as this award from The Banker comes on top of the Best Bank in Luxembourg title that Euromoney handed us for the third consecutive year", said Geoffroy Bazin, Country Head of the BNP Paribas Group in Luxembourg and Chair of the BGL BNP Paribas Executive Committee.

  • Best Private Banking Services Overall
    BGL BNP Paribas was named best private bank in Luxembourg by Euromoney

    At the “Euromoney Private Banking Awards” ceremony in London on 21 February 2019, BGL BNP Paribas took first place in the “Best Private Banking Services Overall” category, confirming its position as market leader in Luxembourg.

    BGL BNP Paribas also came first in Luxembourg for its services to Super Affluent Clients(USD 1 million to USD 5 million) and High Net Worth Clients (USD 5 million to USD 30 million), and topped the rankings for Philanthropic Advice and Social Impact Investing.

    Following the ceremony, Geoffroy Bazin, Country Head of the BNP Paribas Group in Luxembourg and Chairman of the BGL BNP Paribas Executive Committee, said:

    “We are very proud to be named best private bank in Luxembourg by Euromoney. This result confirms the Group's key position in the private banking market, and reflects the active and responsible role that BGL BNP Paribas plays in developing the Luxembourg finance industry. I am especially pleased that the bank also came first for philanthropic advice and social impact investing. This encourages us to keep up our efforts in these areas, and more generally to continue investing in order to meet all of our clients' expectations.     Each year, Euromoney magazine carries out a global survey of private banks and, based on votes from market participants, publishes one of the most influential rankings in the industry. Other prizes won by the BNP Paribas Group at the 2019 Euromoney Private Banking Awards include number one private bank in the eurozone and fourth best private bank globally. The BNP Paribas Group was also named best private bank in France, Poland and Monaco.
