Make payments anywhere in the world and enjoy protection for your purchases

With the Visa Classic ⁽¹⁾ credit card, you can make purchases anywhere in the world, in shops or online, while benefiting from insurance to protect your purchases.

• Purchase protection: purchases made with your card are protected against theft for 90 days from the date of purchase.
  
• Extended warranty: enjoy a 24-month extension after the manufacturer’s warranty expires.
  
• Shop online: make purchases over the internet in complete safety thanks to online shopping insurance (non-delivery or faulty delivery).

Choose to defer or stagger your payments

Payments made using your Visa Classic card are deferred. You have two options at the end of the month:

• total payment: deduction of the total amount spent on your card at the end of each month
• partial payment: at the end of each month, 10% of the total amount on your card is automatically taken out of your account. Interest will be applied, and the total amount is paid in instalments over a longer period.
  • the ideal solution for spreading out larger payments.

Contactless payments: easy, fast and secure

Pay in next to no time! All BGL BNP Paribas credit and debit cards now offer contactless payments.

This technology enables cardholders to make purchases without having to insert the card into the machine.

In Luxembourg, you can use your contactless bank card for any amount. For purchases of less than EUR 50, no PIN code is required (up to a maximum total amount of EUR 100). For larger transactions, you’ll need to enter your usual PIN code.
